This is the rules and regulations of SD Series – Scandinavian Drift Series. Dette er første udgave af regelsættet og SD Series forbeholder derfor, til enhver tid, retten til at tilrette, ændre, tilføje eller slette dele af regelsættet hvis det findes nødvendigt.
Følgende regler gælder for alle begivenheder, kvalificeringer, løb, events og demonstrationer afholdt af og med SD Series. Reglerne er obligatoriske for alle biler, kørere og teams der vil deltagere i SD Series.
All drivers must follow the rules, as stated in the Rules and regulations for SD Series, and any rules applied to specific events.
All participants must have the professionalism, and take responsibility for there own actions, and manners at each event.
Drivers and Teams must be clean and presentable at any given time. Drivers, teams and cars must be clean and presentable in appearances at all times during the event. Officials and judges must be treated with respect.
There must be a driver or team chief present at every briefing/information meeting. Attendance is mandatory, and there will be a roll call. Failure to attend can lead to exclusion from the event.
An information billboard can be found at a predetermined location. The location will be given in the information mail to the people attending or on the website.
The billboard will contain a list of driver sign ups, rules as stated below, a map over the area with the track, pit and judges tower.
Different meetings will be held with the drivers or team chiefs. These meeting can take places as group meetings or as individual meetings. A meeting will be announced ahead of time either by posting it on the bill board or by personal enquiry
Everyone will be briefed on rules regarding the competition or special rules, or changes regarding the specific events. Attendance is mandatory for drivers or team chiefs at all meetings which are held.
It is important to check for updates on the billboard, as changes may occur.
If a driver or representative, in this case the team chief, does not attend a briefing or meeting, SD Series will reserve the right to exclude the driver.
The driver must sign a registration form online. At the signup you will receive a mail with a link and a password. By pressing the link and typing in the receive password, you should now gain access to information regarding the specific event. You have an obligation to read all the information, witch also contains the schedule for the mandatory briefings for every event.
Filling out the form and signing up for and event, means that you have accepted the terms in the contract, to follow the predetermined rules, and any additional rules, as well as obligating yourself to pay the signup fee.
Signup must happen no later than 3 days (72 hours) before the event officially starts.
Cancellation, no matter what the reason, must happen 3 days (72 hours) before the event officially starts. Failure to do so, will result in the loss of the sign up / entry fee.
REMEMBER – You must bring confirmation for signup received from SD Series, and a receipt for the bank transfer.
SD Series - Scandinavian Drift Series if for every one regardless of nationality.
All drivers as well as grew must sign a derivative liability . It must be filled out during signup at the event. Drivers and crew must show picture ID. Not picture ID no access.
SD Series are not responsible for any cars, drivers or teams participating. Drivers and teams are strongly advised to take out a personal accident insurance. SD Series can be helpful in taking out such an insurance.
A driver using any kind of Alcohol, Narcotics, performance-enhancing agents or prescription drug, witch is not exempt according to Antidoping Danmarks (Anti-Doping Denmark), will not be allowed to participate, regardless whether or not the drug is prescribed by a doctor.
Ingestion of alcoholic beverages, by drivers or team members, is not allowed until the official schedule has been completed.
All competing cars must comply to the specifications for vehicles set by Scandinavian Drift Series
Collisions with other vehicles or barriers
I case of a collision/security incident the car/cars in question must undergo an inspection by the appointed technical inspector, who will decide if the vehicles, are technical and safety wise in order to continue the competition. If these rules are not meet, SD Series reserve the right to exclude or ban the vehicle in question.
Yellow flag = Danger reduce speed
Red flag = STOP immediately, will only be used if there is danger on the track.

The price PRO and SEMIPRO will be 1.850 kr. and 1.450 kr. This will cover the entry fee for each event in ´09.
A driver can enter the series '09 at any time during the season.
At the technical inspection, the technical official reserves the right to, at any point to reject any vehicle, which does not meet the safety standards, and is deemed dangerous for the driver, spectators or track.
The reason for rejection during technical inspection must be given to the driver/participant in question, giving them a opportunity to make adjustments or corrections, enabling them to get another technical inspection within the set time limit for the event.
If a vehicle still does not pass technical inspection, the driver must leave the area assigned for technical inspection. The driver is then no longer enrolled in competition.
Every participating car must have a carlog, it accompanies the car in the series. In the carlog approval or comments will be kept from each race.
Vehicles that do not meet the above criteria must be approved by Scandinavia Drift Series
1. Motor & chassis

2. Cage and cabin
| 2.1 | All competing cars must be equipped with a 7 point (6 ankerpoints i the chassis + diagonal crossbars in the rear two legs) |
| or better roll cage. Roll cages must be bolt-in or fully welded | |
| 2.2 | If cages are manufactured from seamless T45/T40 Chromoly, or mild steel tubing it must be OMP, Sparco or other like it. |

3. Tyres
| 3.1 | Tyres must be readily available for sale as an over the counter purchase in their country of origin |
| 3.2 | Drivers must declare their tyre model and manufacturer prior to each event |

Racing tyres including slicks and cut slicks are not permitted |
4. Additional safety rules
| 4.1 | Fire extinguishers must be present and within reach of the cockpit (2 kg minimum) max. 2 years from date of production/controle. |
| 4.2 | All bucket seats must be fixed to the floor and secure |

Front and Rear Towing hook must be present and clearly marked. Stock hook is allowed, except when the hook is hidden |

| 4.5 | The technical inspector has the right to uninstall exterior parts (GT wing, canard, etc) when judged hazardous |

| 4.7 | No fluid leaks of any kind will be tolerated |
| 4.8 | Batteries must be securely fastened with the positive terminal insulated and if located within the cockpit must be covered |
5. Windows

5.1 |
Both driver and passenger window must be in working order. During competition, driver window must be in an up position (10 cm opening allowed) |
| 5.2 | Side and rear windows may be replaced with acrylic or lexan with a minimum thickness of 3mm if fastened securely |

| 6.3 | Internal fuel cells, fuel swirl pots, fuel systems, tanks and pumps are acceptable provided they are fire walled (encased) |
| 6.4 | All external fuel pumps must be covered |
| 6.5 | Any fuel cell must have a one-way valve installed to prevent spillage in the event of a roll over |
| 6.6 | Any grade fuel may be used |
| 6.7 | Performance aids such as Nitrous Oxide are permitted |
| 6.8 | Nitrous Oxide cylinders, associated piping, valves and equipment must remain outside the driver cockpit |
7. Authorised Modifications
| 7.1 | Every car must maintain a complete exhaust system. The sound level must be within the regulation of each hosting |
| venue (you must check with Scandinavian Drift series before participating) jf. 1.9.Look under additional rules for each event. | |
| 7.2 | Aftermarket body panels, bumper covers and wings are permitted |
| 7.3 | Seam welding the uni-body is permitted |
| 7.4 | Suspension upgrades are allowed |
| 7.5 | Factory wheels may be replaced with aftermarket wheels |
| 7.6 | Brake bias modifications and controllers are permitted |
| 7.7 | Engines and drive train are open for modification or replacement |
8. Driver Regulations
| 8.1 | All participating drivers must wear the following items when entering a Scandinavian Drift Series event |
| 8.2 | No bare skin should be showing at anytime |
| 8.3 | FIA (yes them) Racing Suit (Fire proof material, two layer minimum) |
| 8.4 | FIA racing gloves |
| 8.5 | FIA racing shoes |
| 8.6 | FIA racing helmet (open helmet allowed) |
| 8.7 | Head and Neck restraints are optional |
| 8.8 | No passengers allowed during competition |
9. Sponsor and Sticker Placement
